Adventures in Baking...Avocados...No Thanks!?!

​You've seen them, right? The beautiful pictures of baked avocados, with eggs, perfectly poached (baked) inside them? Lies!!! I should have known better. I saw picture after picture and I wanted sooo much to share in that delicious, healthy, carb free, omega-3 laden breakfast. It's not meant to be my friends. It's no good. The pictures look pretty, but I fear that even the prettiest of pictures would taste gross. Please watch my cautionary PSA below.

​I know I should have learned my lesson from the "healthy brownie" situation, but I guess I'm just so hopefully as to believe that these healthy and pretty posts are dishes I would actually want to make. The video really speaks for itself, but I leave you with this image. It's a sad image, and a dish that only I tried. Just me, I tried to get my coworkers to join in, but the smell and appearance of the dish were just too much.
